Congratulations to Michael Moore, whose new movie, Fahrenheit 9/11, won the Palme D’Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival. And yes, it won on merit, not because of its political message.

Of course, Michael, the US Media reports this story very differently than the British Media.

But that’s not that surprising, natch?

I’ve seen the bashing in the American press, which seems to be aghast at the idea that anyone could think a political movie was actually good.

And no, it wasn’t surprising in the least. It’s exactly what I’d expect from the same corporate media that spent all of it’s time not looking at the issues Michael Moore has raised.
