Freedom of speech?

Apparently this is how the U.S. brings freedom to the Iraqi people:

American soldiers handcuffed and firmly wrapped masking tape around an Iraqi man’s mouth as they arrested him on Tuesday for speaking out against occupation troops.

I wish I could say that I was amazed that Bush and his supporters continue to crow about bringing freedom to the Iraqi people, while at the same time our troops on the ground in Iraq are doing things like this. There’s always been a lot of disconnect between what comes out from the administration’s mouths and what the truth actually it, though, so I’m really not all that surprised.
