All your space are belong to us
The nation’s largest intelligence agency by budget and in control of all U.S. spy satellites, NRO is talking openly with the U.S. Air Force Space Command about actively denying the use of space for intelligence purposes to any other nation at any timeānot just adversaries, but even longtime allies, according to NRO director Peter Teets.
The important part of this is that we’re not only planning on denying these capabilities to our enemies (which would make sense), but also to our allies, no matter how friendly they are. It’s yet another case of the United States declaring its intention to push everyone else around, and then being surprised when they don’t like us. Read more about it here.
